BEATTYVILLE, Ky. 鈥� EMS crews received an unusual walk-in patient Monday afternoon.
reported that a deer with an injured leg walked into the Lee County EMS office.
The department of the incident on Facebook, saying they had a 鈥渨alk-in patient this afternoon.鈥�
EMS director Jon Allen said the deer got in through a door that had been left open by someone who was cleaning, according to the report.
鈥淧atient left against medical advice and was last seen headed east on the railroad tracks,鈥� the Facebook post said.
Allen said the deer was removed from the building unharmed.
