PLACER COUNTY, Calif. — A woman who fell about was recused Thursday by multiple agencies.
Firefighters with the Penryn Fire Protection District were called for a technical rescue to the 3000 block of Taylor Road at a subsurface well, according to the Fire District.
Rescuers made contact with the fall victim prior to the successful rescue, the district said in an 11:45 a.m. update. The woman, described as alert and talking, fell into a hole down 30 to 40 feet with water at the bottom, said CAL FIRE , which also responded to the scene to help.
Crews placed a harness around the woman to hoist her up, on social media.
The Placer Hills and South Placer fire protection districts, Rocklin Fire Department and Placer County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene to help.
