HILLSBORO, Ohio 鈥� An explosion and fire Tuesday at an auto shop in southwest Ohio killed three people and injured another person, reports say.
A witness to the explosion that the scene at Jimbo鈥檚 Auto Repair was 鈥渁 real war zone,鈥� adding that he was 鈥渢errified鈥� by what happened.
鈥淓veryone was scrambling around the building, cars were burning up, it was pandemonium,鈥� Clint Moore tells WCPO.
Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire Chief David Manning that the person injured in the explosion was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Eight fire departments responded to the scene.
Manning that investigators were trying to determine what caused the explosion, which occurred at about 4 p.m.
The identities of the three victims have not been released. Hillsboro is located about 50 miles east of Cincinnati in Highland County .
