NEW YORK 鈥 A movie centered around a paramedic team in New York City will be hitting theaters soon.

The thriller/drama 鈥淎sphalt City鈥 features a young FDNY paramedic (Tye Sheridan) being paired with a seasoned partner (Sean Penn) on the night shift in New York City, The movie takes an intense look at what it takes to be an EMT/paramedic in NYC.

The trailer shows the young paramedic facing moral and ethical turmoil and uncertainties that frequently determine the line between life and death.

Eric d鈥橝rbeloff and Howard Cohen, co-presidents of Roadside Attractions, expressed that they were profoundly touched by the remarkable depiction of EMT life in the streets of New York, which forms the core of 鈥淎sphalt City.鈥

Based on and directed by Jean-St茅phane Sauvaire, 鈥淎sphalt City鈥 is set to hit theaters on March 29, 2024.
