ROSEBORO, N.C. 鈥� The Roseboro Rescue and EMS station in Sampson County was significantly damaged and one of the department鈥檚 vehicles was destroyed in a fire on Dec. 26.
A passing motorist called 911 to report a fire inside the building at approximately 11:30 p.m., reported.
There were no EMS personnel inside.
When firefighters arrived, they found one vehicle on fire. Damage from the fire has left the station unusable.
鈥淩ight now, the operation here in Roseboro has been shut down,鈥� Chief Adam Pearsall said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been shifted to Clinton and Salemburg.鈥�
Roseboro Rescue serves the communities of Roseboro and Salemburg, located in Sampson County.
