2 EMS providers injured, 1 critically, after ambulance crashes into Houston restaurant

HOUSTON — Two EMS providers were injured, one critically, after their ambulance crashed into a Houston restaurant and overturned.

The crash occurred on South Gessner Road at approximately 10:30 p.m. on April 11, reported. A paramedic suffered a broken arm and the driver is in critical condition.

Firefighters had to extricate both from the ambulance.

Police stated the ambulance went over the median and rolled over, crashing into Ostioneria Michoacan No. 5, reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
