Biden expressed deep appreciation for the critical role that public safety telecommunicators play in protecting communities across the country, the association said in a statement.

鈥淓very day across our country, public safety telecommunicators come to the aid of their fellow Americans when they are needed most,鈥 Biden said in his letter. 鈥淧ublic safety telecommunicators possess a rare commitment to their communities. They represent the very best of who we are as a country.鈥

This year, NPSTW runs from April 14-20, celebrating the relentless commitment and crucial contributions of 911 telecommunicators in handling emergencies across the nation.
