DAYTON, Ohio 鈥� A multi-vehicle crash Saturday night involving an ambulance left four people injured on Interstate 75 in Dayton.
Dayton crews were dispatched on reports of an injury crash near the North Main exit on southbound I-75 around 10:38 p.m., according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
Two people were transported to Miami Valley Hospital and two other people were transported to Kettering Health for unknown injuries.
A 911 call log obtained from the dispatch center said at least a three-vehicle crash occurred between a black vehicle, a white vehicle and a CareFlight ambulance.
The black vehicle swerved, hit the white vehicle then both vehicles hit the ambulance, according to the log.
A 911 caller said she and her passenger were involved in the crash and were uninjured.
When asked how many vehicles were involved, the 911 caller said. 鈥淥ne, two, three and an ambulance.鈥�
鈥淲e hit the truck, we spun out, the other car went over to the other side of the highway and the ambulance hit us,鈥� she said. 鈥淭here鈥檚 another car in between our truck and the ambulance.鈥�
Possible entrapment also may have occurred.
It is unknown what led up to the crash.
